The Immoral Humans

For ages humans have been thriving to achieve more and more either to find new ways of doing things or making new discoveries altogether. Without doubt one of the greatest inventions is the Internet. Today, we know the power of this wired web and how it plays an important role in our daily lives.

But as someone has said, "With great power comes great responsibility". This applies to Internet more than anything else. Like many of us, I have been watching videos on YouTube, Facebook and other websites on the internet. According to a research it will take 60,000 years to watch all videos currently on YouTube.

While I can choose what to watch, there are times when you end up watching some so called "Funny" videos. Here's what they look like, a guy performs crazy pranks on his girl friend and she never fails to fall for them. In most cases, she would be in her under pants or naked in the shower. Look around on your screen and here comes a link to a video that shows how cool it is to eve tease a girl and she wouldn't say anything. Such videos are far from reality and are aimed to earn cheap and quick fame in the form likes, comments and shares. And, why not? That's what makes you a YouTube sensation. It's up to the individual who is on internet to decide between good and bad but not everyone is so mature. Let's consider the impact of such videos on kids, do they have enough wisdom to differentiate between reality and the illusion of such scripted videos? Such videos make me realise how ignorant the up-loader is towards social responsibilities.

Few more clicks and you'll find videos on fights. Instead of making efforts to stop people from fighting the by passers laugh and roll the reel. Shame on such people who shoot and upload such videos. The human fun doesn't stop here, you can find a wide range of videos from religious hatred to political hatred. And, if you'd like to respond, there's a comment section or even more suitable place called "Twitter". It's the world's most comfortable battle ground where cannons are fired in the form of words.

According to me, humans are self destructive, we are destroying the things needed for our very survival. First, we went against the nature, then we killed animals to extinction and now we are killing each other. We are making enemies for no reasons. We have become blind by our ego and self pride. What's wrong with us ? Are we even humans? We have become insensitive, selfish, and most importantly the "Immoral Humans".

If only humans can be more sensitive and responsible, the world will be a great place again!
